Model pembelajaran quantum teach PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN QUANTUM TEACHING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA PELAJARAN MATEMATIKA MATERI RELASI DAN FUNGSI KELAS VIII A SMP NEGERI 2 TABANAN TAHUN 2022/2023
Abstract
Based on the results of the researcher's survey, in the odd semester test results for the
subject of Relations and Functions for class VIII A of SMP Negeri 2 Tabanan for the 2022/2023
academic year, out of a total of 34 students, there were 20 students who had not completed the
KKM because the learning process still used learning methods that did not support student
activity.
Based on these problems, researchers made an effort to increase student activity and
learning outcomes through the application of the Quantum Teaching learning model. The purpose
of this research is to increase student activity and learning outcomes in the subject of Relations
and Functions through the application of the Quantum Teaching learning model for class VIII A
of SMP Negeri 2 Tabanan in the 2022/2023 academic year.
This research was in the form of a Hopkins model of classroom action research which
was carried out for 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 2 meetings. The subjects of this study were
34 students in class VIII A of SMP Negeri 2 Tabanan, consisting of 17 male students and 17
female students. Data collection was carried out using observation, documentation, and tests.
Based on the data analysis that has been done, it is known that the activities and learning
outcomes of mathematics on the subject of relations and functions in class VIII A of SMP Negeri
2 Tabanan have increased, as seen from the average score of student learning activities, which
has increased from pre-cycle to cycle I by 0.79 and then from cycle I to cycle II increased by 1.07.
The average score of learning outcomes from pre-cycle to cycle I was 4.26 and then increased
again from cycle I to cycle II of 9.41. The percentage of student learning completeness is 58.82%
or 20 students who achieve KKM on the pre test. Then in the first cycle there was an increase to
64.65% or 23 students who reached the KKM and at the end of the cycle the completeness of
student learning reached 85.29% or 29 students who reached the KKM.
So it can be concluded that applying the Quantum Teaching learning model can increase the
activity and learning outcomes of class VIII A students of SMP Negeri 2 Tabanan in the subject
of Relations and Functions for the 2022/2023 school year.
