MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENULIS SINOPSIS CERITA FANTASI DENGAN MENERAPKAN METODE KONSTRUKTIVISTIK SISWA KELAS VII A SEKOLAH MENENGAH PERTAMA NEGERI 2 TABANAN

Abstract

        Synopsis writing learning is a fantasy story learned in class VII A State Junior High School 2 Tabanan in accordance with curriculum 13. Based on the initial research the average value obtained is still relatively low, it is necessary to look for alternative methods using constructivist methods. Data collection methods used, namely observation methods, test methods and document recording methods. The observation method is used to get data about students' attitudes and behavior. Test methods used to study students' ability to write synopsis fantasy stories. Data analysis method used is descriptive method. The results of data analysis obtained the average value of students in the cycle of 62.89 then in the first cycle increased to 70.53 with a percentage increase of 12.15% and the average value in the second cycle increased to 81.32 with an increase in the amount of 15, 30% Thus, the ability to write a synopsis of a fantasy story by applying the constructivist method of Grade VII A students of State Junior High School 2 Tabanan in the 2019/2020 Academic Year can be improved.

ABSTRAK

         Pembelajaran menulis sinopsis cerita fantasi telah diajarkan di kelas VII A Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 2 Tabanan sesuai dengan kurikulum 13. Berdasarkan penelitian awal  nilai rata-rata yang diperoleh masih tergolong rendah, sehingga perlu dicarikan metode alternatif yaitu dengan menerapkan metode konstruktivistik. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan, yaitu metode observasi, metode tes dan metode pencatatan dokumen. Metode observasi digunakan untuk mendapatkan data tentang sikap dan perilaku siswa. Metode tes digunakan untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswa dalam menulis sinopsis cerita fantasi. Metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Hasil analisis data diperoleh nilai rata-rata siswa diprasiklus sebesar 62,89 kemudian pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 70,53 dengan persentase peningkatan sebesar 12,15% dan nilai rata-rata pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 81,32 dengan persentase peningkatan sebesar 15,30%. Dengan demikian, kemampuan menulis sinopsis cerita fantasi dengan menerapkan metode konstruktivistik siswa kelas VII A Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 2 Tabanan Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020 dapat ditingkatkan.
