PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS MASALAH DENGAN PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK MENINGKATKAN AKTIVITAS DAN PRESTASI BELAJAR SISWA SMPN 3 TABANAN

Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 3 Tabanan Tahun Pelajaran 2019/2020;(2) meningkatkan prestasi belajar kelas VII A SMP Negeri 3 Tabanan tahun pelajaran 2019/2020. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP Negeri 3 Tabanan pada semester 1 (ganjil) tahun pelajaran tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 subjek penelitian tindakan kelas ini dipilih siswa kelas VII A yang berjumlah 32 orang objek yang diteliti adalah aktivitas dan prestasi belajar siswa kelas VII A di SMP Negeri 3 Tabanan melalui penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah atau PBL dengan pendekatan saintifik Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas dan prestasi belajar siswa. Aktivitas siswa dalam mengikuti pelajaran biologi dengan penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis masalah dengan pendekatan saintifik meningkatkan aktivitas belajar biologi siswa kelas VII A SMP Negeri 3 Tabanan tahun pelajaran 2019/2020 siswa pada refleksi awal sebesar 24,90 dengan kategori kurang aktif meningkat menjadi 32,15 dengan kategori cukup aktif pada siklus I meningkat sebesar 38,53 dengan kategori aktif Pada siklus II. Sedangkan nilai rata-rata prestasi belajar siswa pada refleksi awal sebesar 46,87 Pada siklus 1 sebesar 75 Pada siklus II sebesar 93,75.

This study aims (1) to increase the learning activities of Grade VII A students of SMP Negeri 3 Tabanan in the 2019/2020 Academic Year, (2) to increase the learning achievement of Class VII A in SMP Negeri 3 Tabanan in the 2019/2020 academic year. This type of research is a classroom action research (PTK). This research was conducted at SMP Negeri 3 Tabanan in semester 1 (odd) in the academic year 2019/2020. The subject of this class action research was selected by class VII A students, amounting to 32 objects studied were activities and student achievement in class VII A in SMP Negeri 3 Tabanan through the application of the problem-based learning model or PBL with a scientific approach The results showed an increase in student learning activities and achievement. Student activities in taking biology lessons with the application of problem-based learning models with a scientific approach increased biology learning activities for class VII A students of SMP Negeri 3 Tabanan in the 2019/2020 academic year students at initial reflection of 24.90 with the category of less active increasing to 32.15 with the moderately active category in the first cycle increased by 38.53 with the active category in the second cycle. While the average value of student learning achievement at the initial reflection of 46.87 in the first cycle of 75 in the second cycle of 93.75.
