Abstract

Sosial (IPAS) berbasis outdoor learning dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pengalaman belajar siswa
kelas VI di SD Negeri 2 Mengesta. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kualitatif
dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam,
dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan
kesimpulan dengan triangulasi untuk memastikan validitas temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan
bahwa metode outdoor learning mampu meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dalam pembelajaran, baik dari
aspek kognitif, afektif, maupun psikomotorik. Siswa lebih aktif mengajukan pertanyaan, berdiskusi, dan
mengeksplorasi lingkungan sebagai bagian dari proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, pengalaman belajar
siswa menjadi lebih bermakna karena mereka dapat melihat langsung fenomena yang dipelajari di kelas.
Pembelajaran berbasis pengalaman ini juga berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan pemahaman konsep dan
keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Studi ini merekomendasikan penerapan outdoor learning sebagai
strategi inovatif dalam pembelajaran IPAS untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dasar.
